Božo Skoko, PhD

Božo Skoko is a professor at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Zagreb, where he lectures the public relations course. His scientific interests are: public relations and communications, international relations, national identity and image, as well as media. He is the co-founder of Millenium promocija, one of the leading Croatian public relations agencies. He is a long time consultant on strategic communications. He is a former journalist and editor with Croatian Television. He is the author of three books and twenty scientific works related to public relations, promotion and managing the image of states. He is a member of the Croatian Public Relations Association's Court of Honor.

At the election assembly of the Croatian Public Relations Association held on Monday, May 31, 2010, a new leadership was elected for CPRA, the umbrella organization in Croatia for public relations experts.

"A state as a brand" - presented to the public

In Matrix Croatica was presented a new book "Country as a brand" written by Ph.D. Bozo Skoko. This is the first theoretical book in our region that deals with the management of national identity and image in a globalized world, i.e. branding the state. About the book were talking, professor doctor Dejan Vercic from the University of Ljubljana, professor doctor Ivan Siber from the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb and professor doctor Zoran Tomic from the University of Mostar.
