Adris Foundation - New Board Members
Adris group developing its corporate foundation
The largest corporate foundation in South East Europe - the Adris Foundation - has appointed new members to its foundation boards. In the Creativity, Ecology, Heritage and Goodness Foundation Board are: Korade Korlević, Božo Skoko, PhD and Davor Bruketa.
New members of the Knowledge, Discovery and Scholarship Fund are: Prof. Helena Jasna Mencer, PhD, Prof. Ksenija Zahratka, PhD, and Prof. Željko Lovrinčević, PhD.
The foundation board of directors consists of seven members. They are: Zvonimir Mareković, President, Branimir Bilić, Vice President and members: Prof. Gojko Bežovan, PhD, Prof. Josip Grbac, PhD, Prof. Nikica Gabrić, PhD, Prof. Josip Paladino, PhD, and Prof. Igor Zidić.
The Adris Group was one of the first among leading Croatian companies to establish a corporate foundation, which, according to available funds, diversity of programs that it supports and the involvement of the leading Croatian intellectuals and scientists, has become the leading philanthropic organization in Croatia and the region. Annually Adris Group donations exceed one million euro. The aims of foundation activities are: promoting and encouraging innovativeness and quality in scientific and artistic work, supporting talented students and young scientists, protecting and promoting Croatian authenticity and strengthening environmental awareness, as well as helping the neediest in Croatian society. To finance the foundation, the Adris Group sets aside one percent of its operating profit. To date, over 20 million kuna has been set aside through 5 donation cycles for support of projects and scholarships. Underway is a new round of the competition whose results will be published at the end of October.
